Congratulations to Toyo Tires/Lammertink Porsche, finishing 3rd at the Nordschleiefe VLN 4 hr race on the18th October, Piet and I attended testing and the race to assist in the setup of the Porsche 997 cup car, equipped with our 3way dampers, specificly designed for the challenging Nordschleife circuit. The 30th edition of the Dutch Ducati Club Race - May Day Bank Holiday 2009. This was my second Ducati Club Race. Last year I rode a Buell XB12R Firebolt and this year I rode a Buell 1125R. I raced in the Thunderbike class with Aprilia's, Triumph's, KTM’s, BMW's and two more 1125R's. We made it back in one piece from Orlando. What a great show. We met many new shops and racers from around the country and globe for that matter. One display were several current and new models from AST. The rally "jumbo" shock was a hit with those passing by along with the new Corvette coilovers. I have been working with a race team after they approached me to make some dampers for their Citroen Saxo. The regulations are fairly strict for the 750cc championship so some time was spent to design a damper which still conforms to the regs and yet has unrivalled performance.
